Perceptivity Towards Employee Engagement: An Exploratory Study Among the Employees in Manufacturing Sector in Bangalore
摘要
Employee engagement, sometimes referred to as job engagement or worker engagement in corporate management, has grown to be a serious issue for business organisations. While working for an organisation, employees have various goals and are engaged in a variety of activities. They observe and evaluate these factors for the business, considering their experiences from their period of employment. If these perceptions and evaluations are positive, they inspire workers to ask their superiors for guidance, to develop an emotional bond with their teams, and eventually to develop an emotional bond with their organisations. The global recession has made it harder than ever to sustain high rates of staff engagement due to layoffs, wage freezes, and benefit cuts. Employers today face more challenges in creating and sustaining a motivated, effective workforce. A disengaged workforce hurts a company’s bottom line by reducing productivity, losing key employees, and creating a toxic work environment.
