摘要
Research Online, Purchase Offline (ROPO) behavior has become a prominent aspect of contemporary consumer decision-making, reflecting the dynamic interplay between online and offline channels. With the proliferation of digital technologies and e-commerce, understanding how consumers engage in online research and subsequently make offline purchases is crucial for businesses seeking to optimize their multichannel strategies. This study aims to investigate the existence of ROPO behavior and its impact on the buying behavior of consumers. The study also seeks to explore the implications of ROPO behavior on consumer buying patterns, including the role of trust, product type, and the overall customer journey. Furthermore, it aims to identify the factors that enhance or inhibit the transition from online research to offline purchases, shedding light on the nuanced dynamics of the ROPO phenomenon. Empirical data will be collected through surveys and interviews to gain insights into the prevalence of ROPO behavior. Statistical analysis using SPSS including regression models and mediation models will be employed to assess the correlation between online research activities and offline purchase decisions. Anticipated outcomes include a deeper understanding of the prevalence of ROPO behavior in the current market landscape and its impact on consumer behavior.
