Reforming Monetary Policy: A Comprehensive Analysis of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC’s)
摘要
Central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) present a transformative opportunity for reforming monetary policy, but their impact remains unclear. This research comprehensively analyzes CBDCs’ potential to reshape the landscape of monetary policy. A potential fundamental shift in monetary policy is presented by the introduction of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs), which asks important concerns about how they may affect conventional tools and goals. This study examines CBDCs’ transformative potential in the context of changing monetary policy. The paper intends to shed light on how CBDCs might rewrite interest rate effectiveness, quantitative easing implementation, and forward guidance techniques by assessing various design elements and their consequences. Additionally, the study explores issues like bank decentralization, cyber security, and financial inclusion as it dives into the possible effects of CBDCs on systemic risks and financial stability. The research attempts to add to the current discussion on CBDCs and their potential to change monetary policy, eventually opening the door for a more effective, inclusive, and sustainable financial system, by means of an in-depth review of the literature and critical analysis.
