The purpose of this research is to assess the effectiveness of green marketing tactics and their impact on customer attitudes toward the environment in the Kannur and Alappuzha districts. Through the use of a questionnaire, we investigated current trends in green product consumption and selected 100 consumers who used any form of green product from various locations in Alleppey and Kannur. This study sheds light on consumer behavior regarding green marketing tactics, with a particular focus on the Kannur-Alleppey region. As environmental challenges continue to rise, businesses are implementing more sustainable and eco-friendly practices, known as green marketing tactics. In the Kannur region, we aim to gain a better understanding of consumer attitudes, preferences, purchasing habits, and how green marketing techniques impact decision-making. Our approach combines quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews to fully comprehend the incentives and deterrents that affect customer behavior. The goal of this study is to identify successful green marketing methods that resonate with consumers in the Kannur and Alleppey regions, promoting eco-friendly goods and services. We aim to determine tactics that align with the beliefs and goals of the local population, such as eco-friendly product promotion, sustainable packaging, or highlighting a brand’s environmental commitment. By understanding how consumers perceive green marketing, businesses in Kerala and across the country can adjust their strategies to meet those expectations. Additionally, this study aims to contribute to the scientific conversation on consumer behavior and environmental consciousness in the unique context of Kerala.
