The company successfully uses reused components to overcome supply bottlenecks. Positioning itself as a pioneer and advocate for the circular economy, the company aims to set new standards through innovation. It emphasises that this economic model is viable and should be pursued, even if it results in a zero-sum game. The primary drivers identified for this initiative are the environment and individual responsibility. The company culture and a return programme initiated by a major customer also played crucial roles. Despite the fact that the second life programme currently does not cover its costs, it has created numerous opportunities. However, the company is steering this business concept beyond its financial objectives. Their mission is to transform the company towards a circular economy, significantly reducing waste. Consequently, the company has achieved very good results, saving 50% of grey energy and reusing 21 tonnes of materials annually.
