Thermal, Mechanical and Sound Absorbing Characterization of Waste Material (Recycle Waste Tire Crumb/Epoxy Resin/Hardener) Reinforced Hybrid Composite
摘要
Advanced compositesComposite’ reinforced materials come in a variety of forms and are the subject of extensive research. It is the recommended option because of its superior qualitiesQuality, which include greater mechanical properties, low density, rigidity, and lightweight. The main goal of this research project is to use discarded tire rubber crumb to create a sustainable composite. Global production of tires exceeds 1.5 billion, contributing to the pollution of the environment. This study focuses on the hand lay-up method of fabricating composites from wasteWaste tire rubber crumb and epoxyEpoxy with different fiberFiber weight fractions (15, 25, 35, 45, and 55%), and then examining the mechanical and physical properties of the materials. Rubber crumb was mixed with epoxy resin to maximize the composite'sComposite strength for structural uses. Additionally, it aids in waste reductionReduction and resource conservation for future generations. Lastly, it helps create a cleaner, healthier environmentEnvironment.
