In this chapter, eight people present their favorite plastic things. For a circular plastics economy, it is absolutely necessary to keep plastics in circulation for as long as possible. There is no shortage of agreements and initiatives around the world to deal with plastics. However, they are primarily concerned with the disposal of plastic waste, without taking any steps to prevent its creation. The focus of this chapter is to analyze the relationships between people and plastic things to find out what makes them favorites. From these findings, levers were derived with which product design can enhance the longevity of things. Finally, the term ‘circular resilience’ is used to summarize a diverse range of application and expansion options for these levers.
