Three molar ratios of Dye:S2O82− (1:1; 1:2: and 1:4) were tested for Heat/S2O82− and Solar/S2O82− processes. The efficiency of Heat/S2O82− were investigated under 40, 50, 60 and 70 °C. Highest absorbance removal was observed both at 60 °C and 70 °C where similar results were calculated which was 90% ± 5 °C after 90 min under 1:4 molar ratio. The removal efficiency has increased from 55 to 83% when the molar ratio has increased from 1:1 to 1:2, respectively. During the Solar/S2O82− treatment the solution temperature was increased from 29 to 45 °C within 90 min. The observed absorbance removal under 1:1, 1:2 and 1:4 molar ratios were calculated as 65–90% ± 5 °C.
