Understanding the factors contributing to student satisfaction in Nigerian tertiary institutions is essential for enhancing academic excellence and student experiences. This study employs a Principal Component Analysis (PCA) approach to assess the determinants of student satisfaction. Through a comprehensive review of relevant literature, key factors including academic quality, student support services, campus environment, technological integration, and administrative efficiency were identified. PCA was then applied to analyze the interrelationships among these factors and determine their relative importance in shaping student satisfaction. The findings offer valuable insights into the underlying dimensions of student satisfaction and provide practical implications for improving academic outcomes and institutional performance in Nigerian tertiary institutions. This research contributes to the literature on student satisfaction assessment and informs strategic decision-making processes aimed at enhancing the overall academic experience for students in Nigerian higher education institutions.
