This chapter discusses the specific requirements for the qualification of corrosion resistant overlay welding procedures. The required welding variables to be documented in the Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) are discussed for each welding process. The required examination and test methods along with their acceptance criteria are also outlined. Finally, the required welding variables to be addressed in the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) along with their qualified limits and ranges are discussed.
