Investigating spatiotemporal patterns in river water quality is vital for understanding river health. We propose a method to enable efficient spatiotemporal modelling of satellite remote sensing river water quality data through flexible regression modelling accounting for the river network structure. We illustrate this using an example of the Ramganga river in India.
