In this chapter we will deduce the translational and rotational motion equations in three dimensions of a rigid body. With these equations it is possible to determine the position of a vehicle in space, as well as its orientation to a global coordinate system at any given instant. In addition, in the case of collisions theory applied to vehicular collisions, some simplifications of this equations are made, as is usual in the automobile practice.

摘要

In this chapter we will deduce the translational and rotational motion equations in three dimensions of a rigid body. With these equations it is possible to determine the position of a vehicle in space, as well as its orientation to a global coordinate system at any given instant. In addition, in the case of collisions theory applied to vehicular collisions, some simplifications of this equations are made, as is usual in the automobile practice.
