Two-stage implant reconstruction is detailed from the perspective of patient selection, the use of acellular dermal matrix, complications, mastectomy skin necrosis including the management of each. Prepectoral and direct-to-implant reconstruction are discussed. The last section focuses on the “Goldilocks” procedure.
