In this chapter, the embryology and topography of the external ear are detailed. Reconstruction with wedge excision and local flaps is outlined as well as the use of temporoparietal fascia flap in conjunction with autogenous cartilage or alloplastic framework. The use of osseointegrated implants and prosthetic ear is also included.
