摘要

One important result obtained in 1974 shows that Einstein’s gravitational field of General Relativity is non-renormalizable, due to the presence of the Newtonian gravitational constant in Einstein’s equations. Here we discuss the necessity of the renormalization of Einstein’s theory of gravitation as an essential observational tool to define quantum gravity.
