Basics of Structural Heart Disease and Procedures
摘要
Percutaneous approaches to structural heart disease have become more widely available, as large scale clinical trials have shown their benefit in certain populations of patients. Cardiac CT has come to serve a key role in both pre-procedural planning and post-procedural assessment, with many other emerging roles in this expanding field. This chapter will focus primarily on aortic valve replacement, as CT has become widely available and the current standard of care in procedural planning.
