This paper discusses the results of a survey on visitors’ experience in a museum exhibition with human-resembling animatronics (robotic puppets). It is based on the assumption that animatronics comprise novel and interesting exhibits for visitors, trigger their imagination and enrich their museum experience. The museum under study is the Casa Parlante—A Living Museum in Corfu, Greece, established in March 2014. The research addressed visitors’ feelings, the role of animatronics in the exhibition’s narrative, the perceived gained knowledge and the quality of the visit in general. The survey consisted of a two-page questionnaire that was filled in by visitors at the exit of the exhibition. We collected 65 questionnaires filled-in by adults. Findings showed that incorporating human-like animatronics models as part of a museum exhibition enhance learning and entertainment, and that human-resembling animatronics have a significant impact in terms of cognitive and introspective museum experience.
