AlMutanabbi Street represents the cultural market in Baghdad, where the trade in books of all kinds and fields flourishes. It is considered one of the most important features of Baghdadi life, especially on Fridays. The street carries its visitors to a world full of culture, arts, poetry, and cultural and social gatherings, which are organized throughout its halls, cultural centers, and heritage sites. This study explores the role of street vendors in reviving the cultural and heritage life of AlMutanabbi Street in Baghdad. Using SWOT analysis and interview techniques, we examine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with street vending in the area. Additionally, we investigate the soft changes in night activities brought about by street vendors. The current findings suggest that street vendors play a vital role in preserving the cultural heritage and economic significance of AlMutanabbi Street. Furthermore, the study provides valuable insights for developing the current situation of AlMutanabbi Street and promoting the activities of street vendors in the area. This research contributes to the ongoing efforts to revitalize the cultural heritage and economic significance of AlMutanabbi Street in Baghdad.
