360-Degree Video in Teacher Education
摘要
This chapter provides a comprehensive understanding of 360-degree video in teacher education, examining its characteristics, impacts, advantages, and disadvantages. The characteristics of research on 360-degree videos, such as the use of teacher reflection, semistructured interviews, and classroom observations, support their feasibility of using 360-degree videos for teacher education. The impacts of 360-degree video technology include enhancing teachers’ interpersonal competence by reducing anxiety, improving interpersonal knowledge, providing immersive experiences, and assisting in reflective practices. These videos offer numerous advantages, including enhanced observational capabilities and the development of professional knowledge. However, challenges such as the potential for reduced critical thinking and the need for a structured implementation framework must be addressed to fully realize the potential of 360-degree videos in teacher education.
