Typing in Online Assessment
摘要
The pervasive influence of technology has profoundly transformed the way we engage with written content, thanks to the rapid progress in digital technologies. This transformation is especially evident with the incorporation of mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. The pandemic and transition to online teaching and learning have resulted in notable modifications to assessment methods and practices, making several factors and practices essential for teachers and learners during online exams. However, typing also has several advantages, such as efficiency, fast responses, and editing. This entry investigates how typing is viewed and discussed in research and online assessment to determine benefits and challenges.
