The therapeutic radiographer has a significant role in image acquisition, analysis and implementing actions prior to treatment delivery. Hence, there is a need for understanding of all aspects of imaging from pre-treatment CT to on-line image review alongside a robust competency programme to enable therapeutic radiographers to undertake radiographer led imaging within radiotherapy.
