The optimal role of radiotherapy for stomach cancer is still evolving. Radiotherapy is being studied in pre-operative settings and is commonly used for palliation in advanced tumours. This chapter deals with the normal radiological anatomy of the stomach and imaging features and patterns of gastric cancer spread. It also summarises the anatomical changes due to the tumour and its spread, post-operative anatomy and guides target volume delineation for neo-adjuvant and post-operative settings.
