Introduction
摘要
Radiotherapy plays a significant role in the multimodal treatment of malignancies. In the curative setting, radiotherapy aims to deliver a therapeutic dose with optimal sparing of adjacent normal organs to achieve the best chance of cure with minimal late toxicities. This introductory chapter reviews the radiotherapy workflow, emphasising the importance of optimal imaging for target volume delineation. It also summarises the current use of artificial intelligence for radiotherapy planning.
