The Dobrujan press between 1878–1939 represented one of the most efficient means to create social and political habits, as well as a civil behaviour characteristic for a society in full process of modernization. Press reflected all aspects of life, meaning, social, political, economical, cultural and even spiritual activity, thus being a necessary and crucial presence in Dobrujan locals’ existence. We can extract from its pages valuable information regarding the integration of the locals in the Romanian society of that time and the Dobrujan model preserved and manifested in different fields of activity.
