A patient with a 1.5 cm pedunculated colon polyp was removed by snare polypectomy. Pathology showed invasive well-differentiated to moderately differentiated colonic adenocarcinoma arising in association with a tubular adenoma with high-grade dysplasia. The distance of invasive carcinoma from the deep margin was 0.725 mm. Colectomy was done.
