An epidermal inclusion cyst is derived from the epithelial lining of a hair follicle in which the epidermis invaginates into the dermis resulting in a keratin-filled epidermal-lined cyst. A central pore and “cheesy,” foul smelling discharge is characteristic. A case treated with surgical excision is presented.
