摘要
This chapter navigates complications with the placement of dental implants and bone grafting surgeries. It is a well-researched account of the anatomical aspects of significance in the process of surgical planning in the maxillary and mandibular areas with critical neurovascular structures of concern for proper management in the context of surgical procedures. In addition, this chapter categorizes complications according to their timing of occurrence, such as intraoperative, early postoperative, and late postoperative periods, and provides evidence-based strategies for prevention and management.
