Three-dimensional fabrication methods can be classified into the traditional and cutting-edge technologies. The latter approach enables fabricating products with predefined shape, porosity, and pore size. Cutting-edge methods can be classified into extrusion- and fusion-based technologies. Extrusion-based techniques include inkjet and fused deposition molding. Stereolithography, selective laser sintering and selective laser melting are the fusion-based methods. The technical description of each fabrication method is discussed in this chapter. Besides, the commonly utilized materials of each method are also mentioned. Finally, the clinical application of each technology is reported.

摘要
