Odontogenic Lesions
摘要
Odontogenic lesions Odontogenic lesions encompass a diverse group of conditions originating from the tooth-forming tissues, including the epithelial, ectomesenchymal, and mesenchymal components. These lesions range from benign cysts and tumors to malignant neoplasms, each with distinct clinical, radiographic, and histopathologic features. Accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning necessitate a comprehensive understanding of the pathogenesis, clinical presentation, and histological characteristics of these lesions. Advances in molecular biology and genetic profiling have further elucidated the underlying mechanisms driving odontogenic tumorigenesis, paving the way for novel diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. This chapter provides an overview of the classification, diagnosis, and management strategies of odontogenic lesions, emphasizing the importance of a multidisciplinary approach in optimizing patient outcomes.Benign odontogenic tumorsAOTOdontogenic tumorsbenign
