This entry describes postdigital connections within learning networks. Connections are fundamentally relevant to networks because they are the very fabric that constitutes a network. Different theoretical perspectives emphasise different aspects of these connections. Beyond the typical understanding of networks as interconnected points, in this entry we outline some alternative conceptualisations such as the meshwork, rhizomes, Actor-Network Theory (ANT), entanglement, assemblages, fluid spaces, and learning foams. These perspectives enrich understandings of connections by highlighting the dynamic, relational, and evolving nature of postdigital learning networks. Together, they offer nuanced insights into how connections, flows, and dependencies shape learning in complex postdigital learning environments.
