Zins-Penninck/Zinspenning, Judith
摘要
Judith Zins-Penninck (1631–1664) was a Dutch Quaker woman whose reputation for preaching and publishing was such that she was well-known in the English Quaker community. She argued that more focus should be paid to enlightenment by the Spirit of God rather than earthly practices. Zins-Penninck’s legacy was one that challenged social expectations by asserting the public role of women in the community and as faith leaders.
