Methodological Considerations for fMRI with Optogenetics, Chemogenetics, and Fiber Photometry
摘要
This chapter discusses essential methodological considerations for integrating functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) with neuromodulation techniques such as optogenetics, chemogenetics, and fiber photometry. The synergy of these approaches with fMRI provides a robust framework to investigate neural circuit dynamics, neurovascular coupling, and behavior correlates of imaging features in preclinical models. Combining fMRI with these neuromodulatory and recording tools offers a systems-level view of neural activity and the potential to reveal the functional impact of targeted activity on complex brain networks.
