Comet-FISH
摘要
The comet assay is a sensitive and rapid method for analyzing DNA damage and its repair in individual cells. Over time, the method has been further developed and modified to detect different types of DNA lesions. One such modification involves combining the assay with fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). The Comet-FISH method uses labeled DNA probes to detect a specific DNA sequence of interest on comets. By combining both methods, the total number of DNA breaks and the integrity of specific regions of the genome can be analyzed simultaneously.
