In 2012, we introduced a new multicolor FISH probe set (mFISH) called heterochromatin-directed mFISH (HCM-FISH). It enables characterization of large heterochromatic regions within the human genome in a single step, closing a gap in the mFISH probe sets available to date. HCM-FISH covers the acrocentric short arms, the large pericentric regions of chromosomes 1, 9, 16, 19, and the Yq12 band. In addition, a mitochondrial probe can be added.

摘要

In 2012, we introduced a new multicolor FISH probe set (mFISH) called heterochromatin-directed mFISH (HCM-FISH). It enables characterization of large heterochromatic regions within the human genome in a single step, closing a gap in the mFISH probe sets available to date. HCM-FISH covers the acrocentric short arms, the large pericentric regions of chromosomes 1, 9, 16, 19, and the Yq12 band. In addition, a mitochondrial probe can be added.
