Molecular Detection of Hepatitis E Virus in Pork Meat
摘要
Hepatitis E virus (HEV), especially genotypes 3 and 4, is an emerging zoonotic pathogens commonly associated with foodborne transmission, particularly through the consumption of contaminated pork and pork products. This chapter presents a methodology for the molecular detection of HEV in pork meat samples, describing the preparation of raw meat samples for analysis, nucleic acid extraction using magnetic bead technology, cDNA synthesis, RT-nested PCR, and electrophoresis.
