Concentration and Purification of Proteins Produced by Pichia pastoris by TFF with Ceramic Membranes
摘要
Tangential flow filtration is a common strategy to concentrate proteins. In the case of proteins produced by Komagataella phaffii, filtration is commonly based on cassette membranes. However, there is an alternative that is more affordable, durable, and resistant: ceramic membranes. This chapter describes the methodology to concentrate and purify K. phaffii secreted recombinant proteins using ceramic membranes as an alternative to cassettes in a tangential flow filtration system.
