Lichens are made due to a symbiotic relationship between a mycobiont and a photobiont. Lichens are a model system to study symbiosis. However, the challenges in the isolation of lichen endosymbionts contribute to the difficulty in the area of research in lichen. This chapter aims to describe various methods used for the isolation and maintenance of lichen endosymbionts.

摘要
