Phosphonopeptides are phosphorus analogues of naturally occurring peptides and have been widely utilized as some enzyme inhibitors and haptens in the production of catalytic antibodies due to the characteristic of their tetrahedronal structure, which can simulate the structures of transition states in the amide and ester hydrolysis. Here the widely used synthetic methods of phosphonopeptides and phosphonodepsipeptides are described. The current methods can also be applied for the synthesis of phosphinopeptides and phosphinodepsipeptides.

摘要

Phosphonopeptides are phosphorus analogues of naturally occurring peptides and have been widely utilized as some enzyme inhibitors and haptens in the production of catalytic antibodies due to the characteristic of their tetrahedronal structure, which can simulate the structures of transition states in the amide and ester hydrolysis. Here the widely used synthetic methods of phosphonopeptides and phosphonodepsipeptides are described. The current methods can also be applied for the synthesis of phosphinopeptides and phosphinodepsipeptides.
