The loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay is a simple, rapid, and highly sensitive test that enables isothermal gene amplification in the range of 60–65 °C, allowing for visual confirmation. The LAMP assay can detect a variety of human, animal, and plant pathogen genes simply by unaided eye observation of color change or fluorescence measurement. It is applicable not only for the identification of isolated bacterial colonies but also for the rapid screening of food, environmental water, and fecal samples.

摘要

The loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay is a simple, rapid, and highly sensitive test that enables isothermal gene amplification in the range of 60–65 °C, allowing for visual confirmation. The LAMP assay can detect a variety of human, animal, and plant pathogen genes simply by unaided eye observation of color change or fluorescence measurement. It is applicable not only for the identification of isolated bacterial colonies but also for the rapid screening of food, environmental water, and fecal samples.
