This chapter aims to establish a standard operating procedure (SOP) for maintaining the sterility of the laminar flow hood to prevent contamination during cell culture procedures. This procedure must be performed by trained professionals, including biomedical scientists, nurses, and pharmacists–biochemists, who have received proper training from qualified personnel at the cell culture lab.
