The Luciferase reporter detects and characterizes genes by using Luciferin as a substrate. Intronic miRNAs are located within intron and derived from the processing of their hosting pre-mRNA. Here, we describe the Luciferase reporter system used in the detection of intron splicing events affecting the intronic miRNA processing by this method.

摘要

The Luciferase reporter detects and characterizes genes by using Luciferin as a substrate. Intronic miRNAs are located within intron and derived from the processing of their hosting pre-mRNA.
