Detection of Foodborne Gram-Positive Bacterial Toxins by Magnetoelastic Sensor
摘要
Magnetoelastic sensors enable the wireless monitoring of gram-positive bacterial enterotoxins like staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). The enterotoxins are normally detected using biotinylated anti-SEB antibody coupled to avidin-chromogenic substrate system. The changes in resonance frequency of the magnetoelastic sensors based on the mass of the precipitate formed indicate the concentration of enterotoxin. The enterotoxin concentration up to 0.5 ng/mL can be detected by this method.
