Detection of Foodborne Gram-Positive Bacterial Toxins by LAMP
摘要
Rising cases of foodborne diseases have become a major public health concern worldwide. Detection of food-borne pathogens is essential to ensure a safer food supply and prevent foodborne illnesses. Traditional detection methods are time-consuming and require a lot of effort. Therefore, advanced detection methods are being developed for rapid identification such as loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). LAMP is powerful, efficient, sensitive, and specific, making it a promising alternative to conventional detection approaches. This chapter gives a brief protocol of LAMP, particularly for the detection of foodborne bacterial toxins.
