Inoculation of Microorganisms into the Soil and Rhizosphere
摘要
From a microbiome engineering perspective, one of the most widely used strategies enabling the microbial community manipulation of plant holobiont is inoculation with plant growth-promoting microorganisms. There are several factors to consider when designing a microbial inoculation strategy, such as the site and moment of inoculation, production scales, tools, and inoculation methods. In this chapter, some current protocols for microbial bio-input inoculation of soil/substrate and rhizosphere using water as carrier are described.
