β-Cyclodextrin-Based Catalytic System in Click Reactions
摘要
This chapter highlights the efficiency of the click reaction, particularly for synthesizing 1,2,3-triazole, which is widely applied in organic and medicinal chemistry due to its high yields and broad utility. The reaction typically involves aryl/alkyl halides, sodium azide, and alkynes under mild conditions. Special focus is placed on β-cyclodextrin (β-CD)-based copper catalysts, which are highly selective, efficient, and reusable. These biodegradable and eco-friendly catalysts enhance sustainability by forming supramolecular inclusion complexes, making the process green, safe, and effective. The chapter emphasizes the role of CD-Cu systems in advancing environmentally friendly click chemistry.
