Congenital and Developmental Disorders
摘要
The pediatric shoulder joint is affected by a multitude of congenital and developmental disorders, which may occur in isolation or be a part of a greater spectrum of disorders. In young patients, accurate and timely identification is paramount for effective management. Appropriate imaging is thus crucial for prognostication and improved patient outcomes. This chapter deals with the various common and uncommon pathologies one may come across as part of congenital disorders of the shoulder and their important clinical as well as radiological characteristics.
