Reliability Assessment of a Structurally Complex Radio-Electronic System Based on a Markov Model, Taking into Account the Number of Spare Elements
摘要
Abstract
The objective of this study is to compare the calculated reliability metrics of a structurally complex radio-electronic system for the cases of unlimited and limited spare parts pools. The method is based on Markov random processes. The modeling results demonstrate that the assumption of an ideal spare parts pool can lead to overestimated system reliability metrics.
