Abstract <p>Hybrid products based on additive technologies using hybrid processes, materials, and machine tools, which in particular combine additive and subtractive technologies, are considered. Works on metal deposition in wire form using laser technology and mechanical processing are under investigation. A digital twin of a hybrid machine tool is developed based on laser metal deposition (LMD) in wire form and the LMD printing method.</p>
