Abstract <p>A mathematical model of the operation of a modified radial bearing with a composite fluoroplastic-containing coating and a micropolar lubricant is developed, taking into account lubricant compressibility as a function of pressure and temperature at turbulent flow. The adequacy of the mathematical models are confirmed by experimental studies.</p>
