Method of Selection of Measurement Parameters of the Rotor Speed Sensor Signals in Software System for Vibration Diagnostics of Gas Turbine Engines

Abstract
A method is proposed for selecting measurement parameters of periodic signal in order to calculate the rotor speed in gas turbine engines for purposes of high-frequency vibration analysis. Recommended operational parameters of the algorithm ensuring the required accuracy have been determined. The proposed methodology proves effective and is currently used in vibration diagnostic systems for gas turbine engines.
